KARIANNE SILVA

    My name is Karianne Silva. I grew up in the small town of Sawyer, Michigan, directly across the lake from Chicago, Illinois. My family has always been very involved in our church, which is an extended family to me. 

 

    After high school I moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and soon fell in love with a school in Miami. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in English from Florida International University. At FIU, I met my soon-to-be husband, Ronny, and we were married a year later. We moved back to Sawyer after graduation. Within four years we had expanded our family with the births of our children.

 

    Soon after our third child was born, we moved to do missions in Peru for a year. It was in my evenings there that I began writing again. The story line of Watcher was keeping me up at night, so I basically wrote it to find out what happened at the end. And in doing so, I reopened the writing box that had been “put away” since college. Now there’s no stopping…
