Coda Irin is a simple, 16-year old sophomore at Stanton Valley High School. She grew up in a typical, split family – or at least for most of the civilized world. Not for Stanton, Colorado. Since their arrival eleven years ago, she has been reminded of the many differences her family has from that of every other perfect family unit in the community.

 

Soon confronted with the fact that angels exist, Coda realizes that not one person in her life is who she thought they were, including every member of her family on whom her very happiness depends. When life is on the line, she learns that sometimes you have to blindly trust a person, even when all of the necessary information is not shared. With reality changing from a human realm to an angelic realm, the problem is – in whom should she trust?
